Classifying Small Modular Tensor Categories

Conducted research on small modular tensor categories under the supervision of Julia Plavnik and Abigail Watkins, investigating number theory and algebra in the context of category theory. Broadly situated, this area of mathematics has implications for topological quantum computing and topological phases of matter. Presented original findings at two undergraduate research conferences, receiving recognition at both for clarity and depth of mathematical insight.
